Nigerian international and former Chievo Verona striker, Victor Obinna Nsofor has been dropped from Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League match between his club Inter Milan and Anorthosis Famagusta of Greece.

This is despite his brilliant performance last weekend in a domestic game against Roma in which the former Kwara united player scored a magnificent goal. The Olympic silver medalist stole all headlines Sunday night with his stunning effort that fetched inter a deserved 4-0 win over AS Roma.

However, the performance of the former Chievo player could not guarantee his place in tonights encounter, as Inter coach, José Mourinho has called up 20 players for the fixture at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza with Nsofor’s name conspicuously absent from the list.
